Tudor's Visitor Card is in Circulation
Thursday, 19 August 2010 10:36

Hope the week is a great one for you, this weeks note

  • I hope you are avidly using the BNI Tudor card and starting to generate referrals and visitors aplenty, I would appreciate any feedback on how you have successfully used the card so that I can communicate this to the rest of the chapter
  • 14th September is the date for the Evening meeting that you requested. The main objective in holding this meeting is to encourage those visitors who can’t or won’t normally turn up for an early morning. This meeting will give us the opportunity to demonstrate to those people what a fundamental effect we could have on their business if they did commit that one morning a week.

  • Remember this weeks 60 seconds, it’s a special one, if you can’t remember I suggest you have a 1 -1 with someone who does know
  • Also a big reminder to people fortunate enough to have a 10 minute slot, you must bring along a Door Price, it is not an option or something you can do another day
Sorry it is so long this week, but some important things to communicate, so please make note and commit to doing your bit

August is quiet
Wednesday, 11 August 2010 09:59

Please find this weeks Tudor note and read carefully you never know what I may throw in there.

  • As we have mentioned over the last couple of weeks, August is quiet, 24 referrals yesterday and no visitors. Also after a fantastic June and July for attendance we are letting ourselves down in August. It is down to each and everyone of us to pick up our performance and improve for the rest of the month or maybe we need to bring in the game early
  • I have emailed the final version of the Tudor card to all members, due to be printed this week, please ensure you give Nikki your £10 payments as soon as possible
  • I also emailed the vcard for the very warmly welcomed return of David Lewitt of Will Power.  Click here for David's Member Profile.
  • Since August is a little quieter why not take time to have some 1 -1 ‘s especially with our newest members Gavin and David, it has been proven time and again this is the best way too generate some business
  • Click here for details on the BNI golf day and message below, places are filling up so please contact Abigail Darlow at BNI head Office for more details This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

Click here for details of next month’s Golf Day. We do only have limited spaces available so please let the other members know that if they hesitate they may be disappointed!

Also regarding hole sponsorship, the cost is £60 for a hole and we are able to create the banner and scorecard, all they would need to do is send in their art-work. For full details they can call National Office 01923 891999.

Have a great week

Remember Dances With Wolves
Thursday, 05 August 2010 23:53

This week’s Tudor note

  • Firstly I wanted to reiterate my point it is August and traditionally a quiet time for referrals and visitors, as borne out by our lower returns this week, as you know when things are hard, the only route to success is for every one to plan better and work harder. I appreciate every one needed a week off from the GAME, but we need to get back to our improved performance for next week and one thing we most definitely can do is ensure our meetings are WELL ATTENDED, VIBRANT with EVERYBODY contributing even if that is with a POSITIVE ATTITUDE
  • To keep us all on our toes and thinking about BNI Tudor, next weeks 60 seconds is going to be based on a theme, please see below and come prepared, it will be interesting to see who does read these notes
    Dances With Wolves
In the film Dance with Wolves, Kevin Costner was given that name because Indians watched him chasing a wolf out in the field
If the Indians observed you in your professional day - to day activities, what would they name you and why?
  • Just a point on our multicolour swap shop session yesterday, I think it is great that we can request and support each other in such a way but can I suggest that when you respond to someone about being able to meet their requirements that you then engage in a one to one email so that we don’t overload everybody’s email accounts
  • I have to announce that Mo Rajput has left the chapter, I know,  “why did he join in the first place when he hardly attended” but I cannot answer that one unfortunately, please can you ensure that you remove him from your Tudor email distribution lists
  • The BNI Regional Golf Day is coming on Wednesday 1st September .  This year the event is taking place at West Herts Golf Club, Cassiobury Park, Rousebarn Lane, Croxley Green, Herts, WD3 3GG. For further details click here

Have a good one
